Oppo R5 Review
Oppo, the award winner for introducing the world’s most slim and smart phone with just 4.85 mm thickness and the name is not else but Oppo R5. Powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa core 64bit processor and 2GB RAM, the phone sports a 5.2-inch full-HD AMOLED display. Which means that the smartness has not been compromised with the reduction in the hardware. Really saying, the Oppo mobile company had worked really hard for this great achievement.
Moving through Oppo R5 Review, you will find a lot about the device, the good and bad, the images, specifications and technical review about the device.
Display: The display is 5.2 inches with AMOLED display with up to (1080*1920) as its display quality and with 16 Million Colors.
Weight: The weight of this smartphone is 155 g which is great and acceptable although it has high specifications and customers would think of it as a heavy device which isn’t indeed.
Processor: Integrated with Qualcomm’s processor with 1.5 GHz speed with Octa-Core technology. The model number is Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core (MSM8939). Which is one of the latest technologies up till now with multi-tasking abilities that can complete multiple tasks in no time.
Ram: The Oppo R5 has been powered with 2 Ghz Ram which is more than enough and this much of memory is responsible for the smooth operations of certain applications and games that need high range memories.
Storage: It has internal storage of 16 GB and is not supported with external memory that may be a negative point but the deficiency has been completed with a high storage space of 16 GB.
Operating System: The device has ColorOS 2.0 which is based on Android 4.4 and with this much of memory and processing ability, it may easily port in to Android OS (lemon and mango up-coming).
Camera (Front & Back): Oppo R5 Review reveals that the main camera is 13-megapixels with Sony Exmor IMX214 BSI sensor. Which is supported with flash light with normal and fill light options. The front camera is 5-megapixels with 83 degree wide angle lens capable of capturing high resolution graphics.
Interface experience: The internal features and interface seems to be user friendly and shows many interfaces to be the same as other smartphones, still with many more features and functionality that are different and advanced than others like the one that I noticed is the properties of a snap that shows the Time, Width, height and other options with new ones like the Aperture, Expose time, Path of the image and the Location in special.
Tested with the following Bench Marks:
Vellamo: Vellamo bench mark shows the power of the browser and specifically the processor (both in single core and multi-core as well).
