Sony PlayStation Plus India launch on June 23 — Check out the game lineup | What Cel

In March, Sony unveiled a new gaming service called Sony PlayStation Plus, which combines its PS Now and PS Plus memberships into a single service. The corporation had previously stated that this new service would be live somewhere in the first half of 2022 at the latest. Now, some two months later, the firm has revealed the service’s rollout.

This launch comes in addition to a detailed list of PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 games that will be available to subscribers of the PlayStation Plus Extra as well as Premium and Deluxe plans when the service begins.

PlayStation Plus Game Catalog

Sony has revealed specific games would be included with a PlayStation Plus subscription. Sony will not, however, include new first-party titles in subscription packages. Therefore, titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Forbidden West, and Grand Turismo 7 will not be included in PlayStation Plus in the beginning. Below are the games. Pricing and Availability

Three subscription tiers will be available for the new PlayStation Plus, each with a different set of privileges and game portfolios that will include hundreds of the latest and oldest titles to explore. Along with the other features, members will also get exclusive in-game content such as members-only skins, cosmetics, weapons and more for free-to-play games like Fortnite and Apex Legends, 100 GB of cloud storage, play multiplayer and co-op games with a friend and more.

PlayStation Plus Essential:

  • Starts at INR 499 ($7) for 1 month.
  • Includes PS4 and one PS5 game to download each month, online multiplayer, and other core features.

PlayStation Plus Extra:

  • Starts at INR 749 ($10) for 1 month.
  • It gives you access to the Game Catalog, where you can download hundreds of PS4 and PS5 games, as well as “Plus Essential” perks.

PlayStation Plus Deluxe:

  • Starts at INR 849 ($11) for 1 month
  • Get all the PlayStation Plus benefits from the other plans, along with time-limited game trials (2 hours per game), the Classic Catalog, and cloud streaming.

PlayStation Plus will launch in various parts of the country as follows: Asia on May 24, Japan on June 2, North and South America on June 13, and Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on June 23. It will also launch in India on June 23rd.
