Vi, erstwhile Vodafone Idea, announced the introduction of its Rs. 82 prepaid add-on bundle on Monday, which includes a 28-day subscription to SonyLIV Premium for mobile devices. The new bundle is the outcome of Vi’s relationship with SonyLIV, which aims to give prepaid consumers access to a new list of over-the-top (OTT) entertainment. However, unlike a standard prepaid plan, this plan is merely a data voucher and does not include unlimited calls. The validity period is only 14 days.

Users will have access to SonyLIV Premium for a period of 28 days. SonyLIV Premium subscribers will have access to the entire content catalogue on the platform.

The company said that SonyLIV has a diverse range of enticing content offerings appealing to viewers’ wants and needs. All Vi prepaid customers will be able to use SonyLIV Premium without having to worry about hitting their data limit. Recently, Vi also launched new prepaid recharge plans with 31 days of validity.

It’s worth noting that the SonyLIV Premium membership that comes with the Vi pack is only available on mobile devices. This implies you won’t be able to watch the content on your television. SonyLIV’s Premium subscription is generally priced at Rs. 299 per month.

In addition, Vi Movies & TV (VMTV) on the Vi app provides a comprehensive content library for its consumers. The VMTV app includes more than 450 live TV channels and live news channels, including premium content from other OTT applications.

According to the post by Vi on the announcement,

Vi has partnered with SonyLIV to offer premium content services, which will bring the world of binge-worthy content & add-on data benefits together for Vi users.

Creating a unique bundle option for the customers, Vi in association with SonyLiv has launched a new Prepaid pack offering subscription of SonyLIV Premium along with extra data benefits to the users.
